"Église Sainte Marie-Madeleine is a pretty and somewhat mysterious little church, a site visitors seek out because of the many legends associated with Rennes-le-Chateau — for example, that the body of Christ was brought to the Corbières, that Mary Magdalene lived in the Corbières following the crucifixion of Christ, etc. These legends are further elaborated with stories about the Cathars and Templars. The original Romanesque church dates to the 11th century, and was later rebuilt in part, with additional legends about Père Bérenger Saunière, who was parish priest for some years and had the church renovated in the 19th century. This is a site well worth a visit if you're in the Aude dé"
"small village on a large hill this place is said to be pilgrimage here Mary Magdalene lived here guarded by the Templar guard and reportedly gave birth to a son of Jesus Christ. This place I recommend is here a wonderful peace and time seems to have stopped. A rector Saunier lived here, who found Solomon's treasure and built this village. For me it's a heartbeat I got engaged in church. I recommend to all."
"In this church the women cover their hair. Probably also a Catholic tradition."
"An essential visit for every Gabriel Knight fan :) It's surreal to see how accurately this church is depicted in the game."
"Tiny church with free entrance. The interior is rather spartan"
